Driving the other direction on a trailer was a gem of a doll of sweet heart of a car.
A FREKAING HOLDEN UTE!!!!
It was black with red wheels and red stripes anyon know what package it might be?
FWIW I live in the US and these were not sold here and are rare as something exceedingly rare like a lowfat chocolate cake that tastes good.

I wonder if it was one of the G8 conversions. No matter what, pretty cool.

Unfortunately, I did not see a Dodge Rampage today, so you're probably right.

Almost positive it was a Holden something about the distinctive b p illar to top of the bed. But those wheels and stripes look similar but I think the one I saw had racing stripes down the hood and one down the side.

You win. I saw a Triton last week on I-10, I know they're sold in Mexico, but the amazing thing was it had Texas plates. I freaked out. No SR20 because it was 3 lanes over.

Over the summer, in Thailand, I went to a Toyota dealership because I wanted to know the same thing. I sat in one of the fancy Sportivo trim models. From the get-go, its obvious my Tacoma is definitely more refined. Even though I was in the most dressed-up, double cab version, it still maintained its utilitarian look/purpose. Only in the states refinement seems to be an important part of owning a pick-up, in result we unfortunately lose that sweet, sweet boxed frame.
